On This episode of Who Moved My Freedom, It’s FreeForAll Monday and The Gathering by Palmetto State Armory is taking place this weekend. I am joined by PSA CEO Chad Wylie and PSA Director of Marketing Logan Richardson as well as Patrick Babyface P.

Last year, was the first time that Palmetto State Armory put on the Gathering event.

Logan: “It derived from last year when Shot Show was cancelled due to the pandemic and all that. We saw a major void in the industry when it came to companies being able to get products out to the public and information out to media.”

Logan: “So last year we decided to host our own demo bay range day whatever you want to call it. It became the Gathering. And it became something little bigger than we even imagined it to be and it has just flourished.”

Last year, the event took place at the Sawmill Training Complex in Laurens, SC. It was a great idea to partner with companies in the industry especially given the fact that Shot Show was cancelled. It was an opportunity for companies to showcase new products to media and interface with consumers all at the same time.

This year PSA is putting The Gathering again except this time at the Clinton House Plantation in Clinton, SC with the same idea of bringing together the firearms community, media and public for a fun time weekend on the range.

The event will take place March 18-20th in Clinton, SC at The Clinton House Plantation, a 2000 acre facility that houses 17 live fire shooting bays, 2 clay courses, a 1000 yard range, and a mile range. Children under 16 get in for free.
